The Common Myths of the Bible

By Jim Staley

First of all we need to comprehend the common myths. The most popular myths could be that the Jewish people were the actual chosen people in that old Testament. A lot of people spent my childhood years believing that like Used to and even taught that to others. However this is what I used to instruct that the Jewish people were the chosen folks and it was often uncomfortable for me because I did not quite realize when I say the decided on people, what do that mean? The term "chosen people", is he still chosen consumers? And how did that fit in? And imagine if they don't believe in Jesus? But the Jewish folks are chosen, or if we ever just ignore which subject in religious organization. We don't want to touch that with a 10 foot pole, we intend to touch that one on this page.

Another common fantasy is that the Torah and the Legislation was given to the Jews. That is certainly another belief which will drastically change how we read your bible. These myths are being promoted by the opponent for almost 2000 years.

Another one is that the Passover which Jesus kept with the other Feast Days of the bible the disciples kept were "Jewish" Feast Days such as the Sabbath day. This is the single most important thing that people will tell myself when I say "hey man, I enjoy the feast days and nights, I have been keeping these for a few years now, that they revolutionized my family's existence, I don't even know how I existed without them, and they are that unbelievable, all are about the Messiah." They are saying, you are keeping individuals, those are Jewish holidays. I realize you also heard in which at least once in your lifetime.

They are Jewish holidays right. Well, genuine or not true, we're going to find out in this article.

Thus let me ask you a question that is around the heels of this problem, "How many tribes were at the base of Mt. Sinai if the commandments were given? " All 14 Tribes! Next question plausible to be asked is the place many were Jewish? One tribe! 1 tribe was Jewish which begs the particular question, where are the other ones? If they were directed at all of Israel, all the 12 tribes, then they can't possibly be Jewish or that is simply not fair. The Jewish people cannot own the holidays because they are only one tribe. Here are each of the tribes that are out here: Asher, Issachar, Simeon, Levi, Gad, Reuben, Judah, and Joseph.
