Charlie Chaplin, the best comedian of silent era also we will say black and white time was born as Charles Spencer Chaplin in London, Britain on 16 April 1889. His mum and dad Sr and Hannah Hill were music hall entertainers but separated straight after Charlie was born, leaving Hannah to make provision for her youngsters. In 1896 when Hannah was not currently able to take care of her kids, Charlie and his brother Sydney were admitted to Lambeth Workhouse and later , Hanwell School for Orphans and Broke Children.His first stage appearance, at age 5, was singing a song in place of his ma who had get sick.
At 8 he toured in a musical, "The 8 Lancaster Lads". Nearly 11, he appeared in "Giddy Ostende" at London's Hippodrome.Chaplin was one of the most creative and influential personalities of the silent-film era. He was influenced by his predecessor, the French silent motion picture comic Max Linder, to whom he dedicated one of his films.
His working life in entertainment spanned over 75 years, from the Victorian stage and the Music Hall in Britain as a child performer, till close to his demise at the age of 88. His highly visible private and non-private life encompassed both acclamation and squabble.
Chaplin's identification with the left finally forced him to resettle in Europe in the McCarthy era in the early 1950s.In 1921 Charlie Chaplin was decorated by the French administration for his superb work as a filmmaker, and was elevated to the rank of Officer of the Legion of Honor in 1952. In 1972 he was honored with an Academy Award for his "incalculable effect in making motion photographs the art kind of the century." In 1975 England's Queen Elizabeth II knighted him.
Chaplin's other works included musical scores he composed for lots of his films. He also wrote two autobiographical books, "My Autobiography" in 1964 and its companion volume, "My Life in Photographs" in 1974. The book on Charlie Chaplin Biography is among the famous book on him.
