As soon as my boyfriend proposed, I began fantasizing about our perfect wedding and I knew without any doubt that I wanted to hire a professional videographer. I just truly wanted it to be a day that would be captured forever, that I could go back and relive through the video over and over again. I've seen other people's wedding videos, and they are almost always impossible to watch because they were filmed by someone's uncle who was half-drunk and weaving through the crowd, missing everything of importance.
When I started my search for a videographer, I found a photographer whose work was really fantastic, so I made an appointment to talk with him, and he said he would love to do the photography for our wedding, but it was difficult for him to focus on good pictures and a good video at the same time. I was very pleased with how upfront he was, so I hired him as our photographer and looked for somebody else to do the video.
I then jumped on the computer to look on the Internet for a professional videographer, feeling sure that I would be able to find someone in the area who would do a great job on my wedding video. Luckily, I found someone who fit the bill exactly and put myself in contact with them, asking if they would be available for my wedding. I was overjoyed when they told me they would be available on my wedding date, and I instantly knew I had to have them.
I hired them on the spot and felt a huge burden lifted, and I could then concentrate on the rest of my wedding plans. By the time the actual big day had come around, I had very nearly forgotten about videography services, but when I saw the woman with her camera just before the ceremony, I was filled with nearly inexpressible joy.
I gave her some basic instructions and then let her do her thing and was impressed by how unobtrusive she was as she worked.
