Beginners Photoshop Elements Tutorials
Tossing or tweaking your pictures would not be a great idea if your image is scanned or crooked at an angle. With Photoshop Elements Version, you can instead straighten up your picture with a few really simple and easy to use steps. Adobe Elements 3 and 4 provide you just the correct tools to straighten up your tilted or angled picture. Here is how!
The two predominant tools offered by Photoshop Elements to repair your image are the measure tool and the crop tool. The measure tool is used to set a certain level of the picture and straighten up it. It can be easily operated by choosing the measure tool from menu and clicking one horizon of the document / picture and dragging it to the other end of the document.
This would set the level of the document. With this tool, aside from a horizon, you can even fix an edgy shelf or a four sided roofline to the perfect horizontal level. Now, click on the rotate canvas option to rotate the picture and repair it on the canvas. The canvas will expand in accordance with the size of the picture. After that, use crop tool to cut the additional unwanted edges.
Those opting for the crop tool have the advantage of prompt straightening as this tool offers both the cropping and straightening options at once. For operating the crop tool, select the crop tool and drag a crop marquee. Position the horizontal edge on the horizontal line to set the level of the image. Again, it could be roofline or an edgy shelf instead of a horizon which needs to be fixed in a perfect horizontal position. Now drag the marquee so that its edge merges with the horizon line. This is done to align the edge to a horizontal position.
After one edge is set, repeat the same to align other edges. However, remember that if you wish to fix the vertical lines on your picture, then, don't align them with vertical borders. You may fix them by using 'perspective' option in the option bar. By choosing the perspective option, you may correct the vertical lines by fixing the corners of the boundary intended to be cropped to the right perspective. Be sure to keep all of the corners in the assigned doc.
The perspective element isn't available with Photoshop Elements. You may activate it by converting the chosen background into a layer by double clicking on the background. Crooked shots are a rising

Crooked shots are a rising issue because of the increase of digital cameras where the photographer clicks the snap while keeping the camera straight and looking at the back screen. This distorts the picture by making it disproportional. Hence, clicking 4 to 5 shots of the same subject image isn't the only solution.
Doing this would not just waste your camera's battery but also its memory. With the latest and user friendly sophisticated tools in Adobe Elements, you may get rid of your angled image and convert it into a visible pleasure.
