Individuals get busted on a regular basis DUI without driving a car

Some people might not know that an individual does not have to be behind the wheel of an automobile to get arrested and arrested for driving under the influence. Numerous individuals are busted frequently for tipsy driving of other vehicles.

New York State, according to the Huffington Post, exempts horse-driven automobiles from DUI laws. However, four Amish youths in Chautauqua county, New York, took the reins while drinking and crashed into a law enforcement car in March of this year and got minor-in-possession charges instead.

You should know that golf carts count as vehicles technically. In New York, one male named James Straub took in more than the legal limit of alcohol in 2011. Then, he went to a golf course and stole a golf cart, according to MSNBC. Calls came in about a clown stealing a golf cart because he was wearing very colorful clothing.

Riding lawnmowers are not okay to drive drunk.

According to a post on the blog Sloshspot.com, people have gotten DUIs driving ATVs, tractors and snowmobiles while over the limit. At least one man has been arrested for DUI while legally drunk and operating a motorized bar stool; another man was busted for DUI while driving a motorized couch.
