Justin made his name as a stand up comic, for which he won a number of awards including the 'Best New Comedy Act' at the 1997 Glastonbury festival. That year also saw him reach the finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He continued with stand up comedy until 2002 when he decided to quit and focus entirely on TV and radio presenting.
JLC's TV presenting career began in 2005 with the E4 show 'The Games: Live at Trackside', made to accompany the channel 4 series 'The Games'. The show was a success and continued for two seasons until Justin found more mainstream success with the show 'Bring Back'.
'Bring back' was a channel 4 programme where Justin would travel across the world in an attempt to reunite the cast of popular TV series from the 1970's and 1980's. The shows' unpolished feel, coupled with Justin's laid back yet hilarious presenting style, made it an instant hit with audiences both young and old alike.
Following on from the success of 'Bring Back', Justin went on to create 'The Convention Crasher' where he would travel around the world attending unusual conventions. Once at the convention he would attempt to become an expert in the specialist field in just a couple of days.
Then came Justin's biggest success, when he was asked to present 'The Friday Night Project' alongside comedian Alan Carr. Each week a different celebrity guest would co-host the show with Justin and Alan, competing in a range of games and challenges throughout the course of the evening.
Aside from his TV and Radio work, Justin is also patron of the Bristol Kids charity for which he has helped to raise a substantial amount of money. The trial has shocked many of the people i
