Washington D.C. Is the country's capital and one of the most historic towns in the country. Washington is situated on the Potomac Brook and is the home of the President of the United States. Many individuals who come to the town love to visit the entertainment parks in Washington D.C.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Opened in 1974, this theme park has a little bit of european theme, with every bit of the park exhibiting an European country. The landscape and atmosphere of the park is stunning, and there are exciting roller coasters throughout the park. While at Busch Gardens, you can discover Germany, Scotland, France, Italy and Ireland. You may also take a thrill ride on Griffon, which gets its name from well-known animal, or you can go to Scotland and ride the Loch Ness Monster, which is 13 stories tall. The park has an area for junior kids, including the Sesame Street Forest of Fun. While you are there, you can enjoy the water park, which features a massive water slide and a calming lazy brook.

Great Falls Park

This gorgeous park, which is composed of more than 800 acres, is situated along the Potomac Stream and is brim-full of natural beauty. You can hike, canoe or go rock climbing. Other activities include pony trekking, cycling or picnicking. You will see a spectacular water fall cascading over the river.

Howard County Fair

Each year, West Friendship, Maryland hosts the Howard County Fair, which first commenced in 1946. You can enjoy stock displays, musical shows and an animal petting zoo. Children normally love the pony rides, and there are horse shows daily, as well as tractor pulls. Additionally, you can take part in contest, for example the Pretty Baby Contest, an aptitude show and a Cow Milking Contest. It's a fun and educational opportunity.
