As a big brother, I wanted to congratulate them for his achievements; he won the Gates Award, which granted him a totally free ride through his entire schooling. It was probably around midnight as i was reminded that he was leaving tomorrow. I completely didn't remember. I took out my laptop and search my Sd card for an image suitable for a portrait. I found a candid which i took with a Canon 7D that radiated success. I immediately took out my acrylics and went straight into the painting. It was my personal first portrait painting, yet my wish to allowed me to go inside head first.
After 6 direct hours of painting, I broken that morning feeling exhausted, yet revitalized simultaneously. Standing in front of us was a reflection of my own little brother, of whom I needed the highest respect for.
