RESET FOR CANON IP1980

If you use iptool for reset canon ip1980,and you get some problem because this tool not work.Iptool work with canon ip1880 and 1980 for the earlier version but for the newest version of canon ip 1980 you must have a general tool .you can download from link below

this step how to use the generaltool if general tool can work you must install new windows operating system

1. download generaltool and extract
2. double click generaltool.exe
3. click usb port where the printer plug in
4. click device id
5. click clear waste ink counter for main and platen
6. then chechbox the EEProm clear then click test pattern 1

good luck

*note: before use general tool please press power button then plug in ac conector to printer then release power button and power on again
