Everyone around tinseltown is talking about Woody Allen's new movie "Magic In The Moonlight." This story focuses on an older man who is infatuated with a very young and beautiful girl. The reporters are wondering why Mr. Allen would create such a movie since he is involved with his tender young stepdaughter. It is quite strange for him to write about this subject since many people see him as a child molester. Unfortunately this movie has not done well during its first weekend opening.
Colin Firth is also taking flak for doing this movie since he is so much older than his co-star Emma Stone. Many people think that it is ridiculous for her to be paired with such an old man for a romantic comedy. This movie may affect Mr. Firth's career in a negative way since many of his recent co-stars have been young women within the acting profession. He has not had a hit film since making "The King's Speech" several years ago. It seems as though that movie would be his final great performance.
