Does Becoming Positive Have Advantages?

As someone who shows positive ways to people, you can guess what my opinion is. My notion is that deciding to stay positive can make a big difference - in individual relationships, house life, job and typically with ourselves.

Recently I attempted to check if this was simply just an unsubstantiated opinion that we Pollyanna kinds think or if there was research to support my search for more positivity in our world.

I began with the seminars I attend for my company. I've been fortunate to study with some of the very best and brightest success trainers and motivational speakers in the world and they are powerful advocates of consciously selecting a positive mindset.
After a number of days with them and other like-minded participants, we leave believing pretty much anything is possible - work, relationships, happiness, abundance. Undoubtedly it's not easy to maintain that type of enthusiasm when we get back into the flow of regular life with all its troubles and worries, cranky relatives, and parade of disasters on the news, however it seems simpler with that increased positive outlook.

I understand that lots of individuals are searching for methods to be more optimistic. Look into the most recent Alex and Ani bracelets which many people are sporting and you'll find that they state "our goods are infused with positive energy technology". Log on to Pinterest.com and view all the positive and inspirational signs people (me included) have pinned up on their boards. It appears we are looking for a much better method.

Here's the good news. I've found that there is indeed study to back up why being optimistic matters. According to Jean Chatzky's book "The Difference", those who are positive tend to be more strong, can cope with stress better, are greater problem solvers, can think much more clearly, and have much more energy.
