When you are desperate and feel like a thin person trapped in an overweight body then it makes sense that you want to know how to lose 10 pounds in a week. I understand what it's like to need to lose weight in an emergency, because I've been there too.

There are two ways of doing this. You can either:

Eat fewer calories a day, or

Burn off the extra calories by exercising.

I would think that the easiest option is to eat less rather than exercise more to burn off the calories.

Choose foods that make you feel full for longer and that will provide nourishment for your body. Processed foods and junk food are not good for you because they are full of sugar and lack nutritional value. These types of foods make you fat and make sure you stay fat.

If you are serious about losing 10 pounds in a week then you are going to have to radically change the way that you currently eat but like I said earlier, this doesn't have to be difficult. Instead of eating most of your calories from foods that are nutritionally incomplete, change to a diet that supplies the body with the nutrients it needs in order to burn fat optimally.

Instead of eating a cheeseburger or sausages for example, fill your plate with lots of green vegetables and a portion of chicken or fish. Give things like refined sugars (processed foods) and carbohydrates a miss.
