Have you ever been stuck in a rut? Have you ever experience life where things just seem to keep tumbling down. It is really sucks and seems like nothing is going right and even worse there seems to be nothing you can do about it. Getting out of a rut is a very difficult task to many people. Obviously there are ways to get out of them, but many people just don't know the methods. How would you like to learn how to get out of any rut that you seem to slide into?
The way you can get out of these ruts is to play your life like a game. If you watch the game of basketball, you see one team go on an exciting run and blow the game open. These runs to the opposing team can completely blow them out of the game if they do not handle the run appropriately. You've seen these runs when you've watched NBA or College basketball, the other team just goes on a streak of hitting shots, getting turnovers, making everything work that they do while the other team seems like they cannot do anything right. It is like they've never practice basketball before.
It does not matter what they try to do, they can try to slow the game down, speed to game up, go hard to the basket, concentrate harder on the shots; nothing works for them. What normally happens is that the coach will call the 20-second timeout after maybe 10 points have been scored by the opposing team. If the run continues then the coach will call for a full timeout.
His goal is to call the full timeout or the 20-second timeout and talk to his team. The coach needs to get the team to regroup get their composure refocused and start to execute their original objective. And typically if the team is able to regroup and refocus, they will then go back into the game and make a run themselves. The average person in life really does not have a coach or counselor who is a professional to help them with their life or their series of negative events, "runs" against them.
This is similar to what you have to do to get out of a rut in your life. When things begin to go bad for, such as you miss out on a job opportunity, or your business is not growing as fast as you want, your children or spouse are running you up the wall; this is a good time to pause and take some time out to yourself and talk to your coach. The average person does not have a life coach or a counselor or someone that can professionally assess their life or situation.
Seeking God, meditating and praying to God will clear your mind and give you insight or ideas of things you can do to get out of the mundane and figure out where the problem lies. You want to have this conversation with God just like you would with any other friend. It should be a conversation.
When you sit with yourself and consult God you get the chance to clear your mind and focus on God. You can then talk to God as if you are talking to a friend and voice out all your problems concerns worries and frustrations. As you do this you will over time or sometimes immediately begin to feel peace and answers and solutions to your problems. The answers will begin to appear. The final step is just to take action on the answers or solutions that appear to you. This is how you will get out of a rut, getting out of a rut is not that difficult just be still and know.
