It's certainly understandable to feel unsure about the Ice Cream Diet just based on its name. Let's see, you want to drop some weight, but you eat ice cream - not just eat it, but eat it everyday. Does seem contradictory. However, the Ice Cream Diet claims you can indulge in this treat every day and still achieve your weight loss goals. So, ok... we're going to review this Ice Cream Diet, and let you know what we find and think about it.

One good thing about the Ice Cream Diet is that it tells you to get regular exercise. So for those who want to do nothing and eat junk all day, we know that's not terribly appealing. Any diet that makes the claim that you can lose weight without exercise is terribly misinformed or just outright misleading you. The Ice Cream Diet in a nutshell - exercise five times per week each of about half an hour; healthy eating that is low calorie, and eating a small portion of ice cream each day as a reward. If you are dedicated to their diet plan, you really can lose weight; and that's how it's done while eating a bit of ice cream every day.
This diet is designed to keep the daily calories limited, but you can still eat that wonderful ice cream each day. Another component to this diet, and it's a good one too, is to do regular exercising. The basis and idea is to give yourself a little pat on the back every day in the form of being able to eat ice cream. If you are trying to restrict your calories while eating nothing that pleases you, it can be hard to stick to your diet. It makes sense that the Ice Cream Diet will be easier for some to follow because of the built-in reward system.

People can work against their own efforts simply by consuming too few calories plus eliminating dairy products. Many people take a calcium supplement, but that may not be the best approach according to the book for this diet. You can manage to lose weight, get your exercise, plus get enough calcium each day.

It's really important for a person to exercise moderation, and that is mainly referring to the ice cream eating. We all know some people will have a hard time doing that, especially if they really and truly love ice cream. Some are just terribly compulsive and won't be able to resist the temptation. Those for whom moderation and a little control is really impossible, then their chances of success will be smaller. The Ice Cream Diet will absolutely work when you understand it, and you'll need to stay within the guidelines it gives you. Aside from the name, designed to attract attention, this is a straight-forward approach to common sense exercise and watching your calories. So, finally, no... this isn't magical weight loss ice cream - we wish it was!
