It all starts with a decision. When you want something really bad, you've got to DECIDE you're going to have it. That is the key: making the decision!
Sometimes you're not exactly sure which way to go about. You want something to happen but you're having doubts: what if this doesn't work? What if I fail and people judge me ? What if there is a better way to get there? ...And your loved ones aren't being supportive, they may laugh (or even worse, they just smirk). What if this ends up being a waste of your time and money? What if...?!
Delete ALL of that crap. None of it matters. And it's only distracting you away from focusing on what you want. Delete all that doubting and negative way of thinking if you really want to get what you want!
Just make that decision. And you'll see (or maybe you know already) that once you've made that decision, the decision that this IS going to happen regardless...you will feel relieved and uplifted, everything will become clear, and yes, things will start to fall into place (maybe not the way you had expected), and you will know that you have made the 'right' decision, the decision to make a decision (if that makes sense?)
This is what inspired me to write this post: Our fearless leader and friend David Sharpe, co-founder of the Empower Network said this to us on our last call:
"Your dreams lie on the other side of that decision"
'other side' guys!! You may have dreams, and they may be big & beautiful to dream about, but if you don't make that decision that you're going to go and get them, you will always be just looking at them through that glass door, out of your reach...where they may get stolen from you..
Just a week ago, I made a decision that made me cry: I decided to go to San Diego, California (5000 miles from here) to attend our Empower Network live event, which I know will be life changing and the catalyst in my business and realizing my dreams. But it's not when I purchased my event ticket that I cried, or when I booked my flights or hotel room...it's when I made that decision in my mind that I was going, which was days before I made all the arrangements.
The second I made the decision, I started feeling emotional and getting the tears, I felt like a weight had been lifted, things started to happen immediately, I felt more empowered, inspired and became more efficient and productive. And now I know that I made the right decision (there is no wrong decision) and that I am exactly where I'm supposed to be: on the same side as my dreams!
I encourage you my friend, to make that decision that is so important to YOU. I truly hope that you do. May all your dreams come true. Because you already have what it takes!
