Industrial Disease And Its Shortcomings

Any exposure to unhygienic work conditions may lead to the emergence of industrial disease. These diseases are occupational diseases or illnesses that occur from extreme exposure to unsafe working condition. These are abnormal reactions that occur when the body is exposed to unfavorable situations in the occupational.

Occupational sicknesses may include asthma, cholera, typhoid, tuberculosis, lung cancer, dysentery, stroke, cancer, spinal injury, mutations and deafness. It is estimated that more than one million people are prone to deafness that comes from the constant noisy environments. Noise is very harmful to the human and animal population. It causes partial or complete deafness to most recruits.
The doctors and nurses in most hospitals are prone to cancer from the constant handling of x-rays and other chemicals in the occupation. They are also prone to stress from the rude patients and the loud noise in many hospitals. The nurses affected by trauma due to the cases they handle on daily basis. When there is an influx of patients they usually end up suffering from fatigue thus reducing their capacity to work.

Most employees who suffer from stroke do not have any meaningful signs. Strokes occur due to fatigue and increased high blood pressure. This is fuels by stress from the work environment and excessive work. Working for long hours is not advisable, since one is required to have plenty of rest after work.

Most of these illnesses cause devastating consequences. The human resources are most often not compensated. Tuberculosis is also one of the greatest killers during the revolution of industries. The illness mostly affected the lungs. It affected that that were poorly fed and the staff who lived in dirty and damp places. This type of sickness was communicable and it spread to other employees.
