Hair Loss happens naturally every day. The amount that can be tolerated is 100 strands per day. If there are more than 100 strands a day you must be alert. You have to find out why hair loss occurs. Hair loss is caused by many factors such as genetics, disease, malnutrition, the wrong hair care product, the side effect of certain drugs, hormone imbalance, stress and others.
Hair loss can occur in all people both men and women include alopecia androgenic, alopecia areata, alopecia difusa, and degeneration of follicle. Alopecia androgenic is more difficult to cure because it is caused by genetic factors. Other types such as alopecia areata could be cured if the cause is lost. This hair loss is caused by auto immune characterized by hair loss on certain portion of the scalp. Alopecia difusa can also be cured when the cause is lost. Hair loss is seen from the thinning that occurs as a whole on the surface of the scalp. Alopecia difusa can occur due to medication side effects, anemia, stress and others.

Avoid unhealthy hair practices such as wearing hair styles that pull your hair tight for instance pony tails and braids. Also avoid blow-drying your hair as it will dry out the scalp as well as damage the hair follicles. Rough toweling or combing your hair when it is still wet will put out hair strands from their roots and stretch as well as break others.
