Using A Green Tea Scrub Is Good For The Skin

By Eunice Pugh

We are all born with beautifully soft and glowing skin. As babies are skin is untainted by the elements and is protected. With age comes exposure to the sun and air pollution. These are extremely harmful to the skin and can shorten its lifespan if not looked after well. A green tea scrub can give you a younger look and softer skin for longer.

Research has shown that green tea has some amazing qualities. It has been around for years, proving its beneficial qualities. It is widely known to be good for detoxification, weight loss and good overall health.
Not having a very pleasant taste, this tea is not very easy to drink. Some drink it plain, with no sugar or milk, which is probably the best way to do so. However, its other medicinal uses have not been so popularly enhanced.

Because of its wonderful detox properties, it is found in several facial cleansers. Poor diets and pollution in the air around us lead to an unhealthy build up of toxins in the skin. This causes the skin to age quicker and gives it an unsightly appearance.

Normal mass produced face washes or soaps cannot get rid of these toxins. They only wash off surface dirt. Green tea extract is used in soap bars, scrubs and other beauty products because it cleanses deeper, detoxifies and nourishes at the same time. Find out what kind of product is most suitable to your individual skin type.

It is a good idea to add a green tea scrub to your daily or weekly skin regime. This could be once a week or just in the mornings as a refreshing start to the day. Scrubs are always good to open up the pores and rejuvenate, making you feel younger and more vibrant.
