Hairy Nostrils? You need the Best Nose Hair Trimmer

By Ken Waters

Some people say that men are lucky because, like wine and cheese, age makes us better. Well, if that is true, it's not doesn't happen naturally. Men, not unlike women, must put a little work into looking and feeling good. A healthy diet, regular exercise and complete grooming regimen, is necessary if we're to stand the test of time - so to speak.

A regular grooming practice I personally follow is making sure my nose hair is maintained. Now, I luckily didn't need to begin doing this until I was well into my thirties, but when I finally did need to start I took the time to explore my options. My first thought was to use a pair of scissors. Some obvious issues with that though, one, it can be very dangerous; one twitch and you could end up cutting something you're not supposed to. Two, my whiskers were beyond scissors and will not likely produce any reasonable results. Then I considered tweezers... but I quickly discarded that to save myself the pain. What I really needed was a good nose hair trimmer.

Once you pick your nose hair trimmer, you'll need to learn how to properly trim those pesky things properly to avoid accidents and look your best. You should keep in mind that a brute force approach is probably not ideal. Remember, while that nose hair doesn't exactly look great (it may even keep the ladies away), they do serve a very important purpose, so you need to keep some around to do their job.

Next, before you let loose on those critters make sure to completely wash and dry your nose. The nose hair clippers are for removing hair not boogers. Find a mirror (preferably in your bathroom as not to scare away your guests) in a well lit room and cozy up nice and close to it. Do a few dry runs first to make sure you like your positioning and view. Extend the nose hair (you're welcome to use a comb but if you can you probably should followed this guide a long time ago!) and prepare to wack 'em . When you trim the hair don't cut them too short. Just short enough to prevent them from protruding from your nostrils. Once you're done and satisfied with the results, blow and wash your nose out. Alert! Read this next sentence carefully. If you don't live alone clean up the hair clipping left behind. Leaving those things around can get you into a lot of trouble 

Once last thing, contrary to popular belief, ear and nose hair won't grow back faster or thicker once you trim it -- that's a myth. So if unwanted whiskers are cramping your style, get rid of them without any worries.
