Throughout nature's history, there have been several unusual trees that fascinate many people. Not all of these plants are eye candy, but they are truly something to admire. These special wonders of nature can be found all over the world. With that being said, these awesome plants attract thousands of tourists each year. Visiting such places all around the world are truly great for vacations and special occasions.

One of the most popular plants in this world is the Bottle tree. This plant is a native of Nambia and is said to be one of the most poisonous on this Earth. This plant is amazingly unique because it produces a milk-like sap that contains several different poisons. In previous years, bushmen used the sap from this particular tree to coat their arrows in and use them as deadly weapons.

The Wawona tree has been popular for quite some time, and is located in the United States of America. It stood tall before it fell to the ground in the year of 1969 due to a major snow cover up. Although this plant has fallen, several thousand tourists come to have their fair share of pictures of the plant and with it.

The Teapot Baobab, which is located in Madagascar, is another popular plant that attracts many tourists throughout the year. In this case, these plants are a series of wonders instead of one individual tree. These special plants are over 1000 years old and is an endangered species. These trees require tons of water, which is the primary reason why their trunks are 25m around.

In Cambodia, there are Silk Cotton plants of Ta Prohm that are truly a site to witness. The roots of these trees are located all around and over the temple of Ta Prohm. Several thousand tourists make their way to Cambodia to witness such a site and take pictures.

The Hyperion is a favorite of many and is the tallest tree on Earth. Many people are shocked and amazed that this plant is taller than the Statue of Liberty. This tree measures at more than 115.3 meters tall and 7 meters in diameter.

The Pejibaye Palm, which is located in Costa Rica attracts many tourists each year due to their sturdy, black spikes. These spikes are arranged in a circular motion and they begin at the base of the tree, and end at the top. As far as the growth rate is concerned, these trees tend to grow up to 20 meters tall. When it comes to the leaves of these trees, they are able to grow at least 2-3 meters long.

Poland also puts itself on the map with its Crooked Forest of Gryfino. In this forest, there are several trees that are crooked from the base that grow up in a spiral motion. Many people compare these trees to fishing hooks because of the way that they naturally grow from the ground. This is one of the most popular plants from the unusual trees category. As far as amazing wonders are concerned, this forest is number one in many tourist's attraction portfolio.
